Saturday was Homecoming, and it was incredible! After a week of great CCSC activities leading up to the big game, we had a huge turnout as students came up to Baker to cheer on the Lions. There were plenty of giveaways, beer for all those of age, free pizza… what more could anyone want? The band performed before the game and during halftime and put on an enjoyable show, and were even joined by some alumni on the field. There were plenty of other alumni there as well, as was athletic director M. Diane Murphy and President Bollinger, who gave speeches about the new athletics complex prior to the game. Though the game ended in a last-minute loss, the Lions fought hard and played a great game of football, making for an excellent, exciting homecoming.
