Hey Columbia! I’m Christina Fan, one of the two Student Services Representatives of CCSC. I sit in on Dining Advisory Hall Meetings and here’s a quick update on what Columbia Dining Services have been up to.
First and foremost, REGISTRATION FOR THE THANKSGIVING MEAL HAS BEGUN. Register fast because it’s first come first serve. Go to http://dining-sas.webservices.lamptest.columbia.edu/thanksgiving-dinner-signup-form and complete your registration form.
The staff at Columbia Dining Services have been working really hard to launch their new website, so head over to www.dining.columbia.edu! In addition to uploading menus for all dining halls, they’ve also included nutritional information about the food they serve at each dining hall, as well as their calorie count. You can now calculate how many calories your meals are simply by clicking on what you want to have. You can also enter food items you’re in the mood for and see where it’s being offered on campus.
Another really important new feature the website is offering is that you can now complete order forms for JJ’s catering on the website. The link is: http://dining.columbia.edu/jjs-pickup-catering. It’s super simple.
There are a lot of cool features on the website, so go check it out! You can also give feedback to Dining Services; they’re open to all sorts of feedback—positive and negative. Just make sure you’re not heading over to the old website, but their new one, which is once again, www.dining.columbia.edu.
If you have any questions or feedback you’d like me to let Dining Services know, don’t hesitate to contact me at ccf2131@columbia.edu.
