As the Class of 2014 came back from fall break, the CCSC ’14 hosted a study break to celebrate the season. We invited everyone over to McBain for some fresh apple cider, popcorn, cookies, and of course, PIE! The communications committee of CCSC was also on hand to get sophomore feedback with their “WTF?!” What To Fix table. With the great food, great music, and great company, everyone had a blast! But the most fun event of the study break was undoubtedly the pie-eating contest. 2014-ers faced off against each other in a race to consume the most pumpkin pie in two minutes without using utensils or hands. By the end, all of the contestants’ faces were covered in pie filling, evidence of their valiant efforts, but a winner had to be determined. Ultimately, it was the audience’s decision and Keenan Burton-Sessoms took home to grand prize – tickets to the upcoming Boys Noize concert. Congrats, Keenan! And thank you to everyone who came out to the study break – we had a great time with you!
