Big shout out to your senator, Kenny Durell. for his work on opening more space for students! Butler will add six of the ten graduate reading rooms on the fifth and sixth floors of the library to the 24-hour schedule from 12/13 to 12/23, adding 150 additional study seats for use by their late night and overnight users. The extra space is fantastic but please remember that sleep will always be more beneficial than all-nighters. More information on the pilot program can be found below.

The library staff and administrators are extremely excited for this pilot, and simply ask that student leaders stress to their constituents the need for everyone to respect designated quiet spaces and clean up after themselves so we minimize any potential conflict between undergraduate and graduate student users.”
